TrailManners
Welcome to the TrailManners Podcast! The place where the trail community comes alive!
I’m your host, Aric Manning, coming to you from the beautiful trails of Ogden, Utah — and connecting you to the trail, ultra, and mountain running community everywhere.
Since 2015, we’ve been chasing dirt, vert, and stories that inspire — from epic adventures to everyday trail legends.
TrailManners is about capturing the moment: the possibility that everyday has the potential to be the best day of your life. Every day.
We promise to always bring our passion and love for the trails as well as a healthy appetite for cheese curds and a solid IPA.
We want to thank you for taking this journey with us.

Well, even the best laid plans to pan out. We hit Antelope Island for the Buffalo Run 25k this past weekend do talk to folks and get some stories- unfortunately, we only got in one but it was fun. We talked to the RD Jim Skaggs right after he sent the 300+ runners out on the course. Thanks again Jim!

We don't give up. We had a techincial issue on our first go around with Derrick in December but having him back was a priority. He is such a down to earth awesome fella and we enjoyed the time we got to talk to him. We talked about his passions and hobbies but most of all we may have come close to a videography deal for "3 1/2 split short reveal". Have a listen to learn more and make sure you check out Derrick on social media.

Tuesday Feb 13, 2018
Tuesday Feb 13, 2018
Crazy Mother Runners have had a very large following over the past 3 years on social media encouraging others to get outside and take part in the trails. They have helped tranform lives and certain stigmas. We were fortunate enough to talk Sheralyn Traher into jumping behind the mic in Studio 78 and tell us about the history of CMR and get a glimpse into what makes it tic. And of course we couldn't let her escape without pinning her down on a race or 2.

TrailManners
I feel extremely fortunate to have been involved with the trail running community since 2006. Whether it is running, racing, podcasting, race directing, being a team manager, product testing, HUMR founder or a volunteer- the friendships I have forged with so many amazing people will always be my greatest memories. Mountains and trails are my passions and I can’t say no to a good adventure.
Bringing TrailManners to life has been life changing and a dream come true. I am so happy Joel Hatch and I started this journey way back in 2015 - now let’s see where else it can take us.
