TrailManners
The TrailManners crew is from the beautiful trails in Ogden, Utah and we’re here to connect you to wherever trail, ultra and mountain running takes us. We’ll chat with amazing athletes, discuss the latest trends and get you stoked for your next trail adventure. We will have interviews, gear reviews, race reports, LOTS of podcasts, contests and loads of entertainment from beers of the week, random bigfoot sightings, race updates and everything in between. TrailManners is about capturing the moment: the possibility that everyday has the potential to be the best day of your life. Every day. We promise to always bring our passion and love for the trails as well as a healthy appetite for cheese curds and a solid IPA. We want to thank you for taking this journey with us. Aric W. Ladies and gentlemen, we are jumping head first into a new world for us here at TrailManners....Google Hangouts. We have so many people we want to talk to and getting face to face is nearly impossible so we tried our first show through the web. While we are happy with ho it turned out we know we can dial it in more. Thank you for your patience.
We are thrilled to have on one of our favorite guests for a second time- Ty Draney. He is everything that the sport embodies. He recently headed to Tennessee to have a go at The Barkley Marathon. Have a listen to the show to hear a little bit more about his experience.

Episode #26- Nate Graven- Massage Therapy- "Our Guy"
Tuesday Apr 05, 2016
Tuesday Apr 05, 2016
Here on the TrailManners podcast we seem to always be talking about "our guy"- you know the one that helps keep our body working and on the trails. Well we booked some time for Nate to join us to talk about what he does and why we need it. Nate is our unicorn, the almost mystical person who people love but decide not to drop the name too much so "our guy" isn't to busy for us.
He is no stranger to athletes- he was once a semi-pro football player and has worked on olympians, collegiate stars, key local athletes and of course the running community. He has been seen at the Hardrock 100, Wasatch 100, Bear 100 and the Buffalo Run to name a few.
We all need "our guy" or "our gal" to help us reach our goals and have a healthy life.
We would love to hear who you have in your area so send us a message and we can pass it along.
Enjoy the show everyone and THANK YOU for supporting us.

Episode #25- Kelsy Bingham
Tuesday Mar 29, 2016
Tuesday Mar 29, 2016
It has been pretty easy to start a show saying we have a special guest but this episode reached a new level. Friend and local runner Kelsy Bingham has met challenges head on- NCAA Division I women basketball- Sweet 16, pro cycling, motherhood and being a new trail runner but less than 5 months ago she found out she had a rare form of cancer and a new challenge to take on.
We see so much negativity and heart ache everyday so being able to sit down with Kelsy and have her tell us her story is so inspiring. We knew her story but after we walked away from this show we were in awe. She is as tough as they come and as humble as you can be. Kelsey, thank you for sharing this with us and we look forward to sharing the trails with you soon- you are amazing!

Friday Mar 25, 2016
When we talk to a guest we have never met or spoken to, we get a little nervous. After Amy sat down we knew we were going to have a gem of a show on our hands. Amy came down from Great Falls, MT to run her 1st ever 50 mile trail race. Soon as she finished she came on over and sat down for a show that was full of laughs. Our 4th show from the island will not disappoint. Thanks Amy for putting up with us and good luck in your future endeavors.

She did it! Jacquie King finished her first 50 mile trail race and within 5 minutes we had her behind the mic and getting her thoughts on the day. It was great to get in her head and listen to what she had to say about her race, beer, quitting her "adulting job" and future goals for racing. Thanks Jacquie and good luck moving forward.

Studio 78 may not have wanted to go to the island but the crew here at TrailManners wasn't going to miss it. We were excited to be there and to grab a few people to talk too after a finish.
Our first guest we got behind the mic was Leslie Howlett and she was coming off a solid 5:01 finish in the 50k.

TrailManners
I feel extremely fortunate to have been involved with the trail running community since 2006. Whether it is running, racing, podcasting, race directing, being a team manager, product testing, HUMR founder or a volunteer- the friendships I have forged with so many amazing people will always be my greatest memories. Mountains and trails are my passions and I can’t say no to a good adventure.
Bringing TrailManners to life has been life changing and a dream come true. I am so happy Joel Hatch and I started this journey- now let’s see where else it can take us.
