 Joel got all dressed up for this weeks episode of the Singletrack Session. Why? Cause he likes to roll like that. This week we give some east coast love for a Hardrock qualifier, let you know some great races that just opened for 2018 and talk a little but about "Virtual races". Help us out here....

Episode #99- Kelsy Bingham: Bear 100 3rd place & the rest of 2017

 With her first full year of racing behind her, we catch up with 3rd place female finisher of the Bear 100- Kelsy Bingham. You may remember her first time on the show way back on Episode #25 when we covered her recovery from Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. Well Kelsy beat that and know she is covering the miles in the mountains with smiles and positivity. We cannot express enough how happy we are for Kelsy and her family and all they have done. 
Congrats on an amazing 2017! We can't wait to see what 2018 brings.

Singletrack Session #57

 The Bear and Beanies. We are happy and excited to announce that our Beanies are open for Pre-Sale. First 50 (well 48 cause we each get one) are up for grabs. They are selling fast and sure to be a hit. We also talk a lot about the Bear 100. It was a magical weekend here in Utah (and Idaho technically) as we got to see so many friends old and new at the incredible race. Congrats to all those who were there! 
And of course we announce this weeks winner of the WDYFTY contest. With the seasons changing we can't wait to see Where Youyr Feet Take You.

Episode #98- Turd'L Miller: The Man, The Myth, The Legend

Anytime we get a chance to talk to Turd'l we take it. There is never a dull moment so we need to take full advantage when we can. Not only do we enjoy having him on the show but we like to just sit in Studio 78 eating burritos, drinking beer and rockin puffies. 
We want to encourage everyone to come to St George the first weekend in December for a celebration of trail running at the Capstone races. See you all at "The Stone".

Singletrack Session #56

It is already the end of September and we have seen some snow fly. It is a great time to remember to make sure you are prepared when heading to higher elevations. It can get nasty and change on a dime - stay safe and have the proper gear. This weekend is also the Bear 100 in Logan, Utah- one of our favorites. Good Luck to all those running. Episode #97- Luke Nelson: The Champ is back

Our repeat champion, Luke Nelson, is back to fill us in on his 2017 activism, adventures and what he has in store for 2018.
When we last spoke with Luke Nelson, in February of 2017, he was preparing for RUFA and hinted at some extraordinary adventure runs for the Summer of 2017 (Utah 13ers and Nolans). In this interview we learned that Luke and Jared Campbell set the record for the fastest traverse of Utah’s 13ers and that they had a successful attempt at Nolans but did come up a bit short on the Nolans FKT.
We wrap up the interview talking about the Bear 100, running Hardrock 100 or even maybe Barkley’s Marathon (yikes!), and the new race distances for the 2018 SMUT.

Singletrack Session #55

 Another interesting week in the world of trail and ultra running. The Denver Post put out a great story that we hope everyone will read. Stay safe out there especially with the changing weather on those mountain peaks. Another FKT falls this week thanks to the uber talented Darcy Piceu. Big news comes from Steamboat as Run Rabbit Run announces some big changes and big money for 2018.

2018 races are starting to open up and we dive deep into plans we are thinking for next year. Still so much up in the air between racing and adventure runs but things fill up fast these days.
