Tuesday Jul 12, 2016
Studio 78 is back so we parked at the 22nd street Trailhead in Ogden and met up with a true Ambassador of all things fun. Stephanie Gardner is the Western States Tech Rep for Salomon and Suunto as well as an Ambassador for And She's Dope Too. Just by listening to her you can tell she loves what she does and she definitely lives life to the fullest. With so much to talk about we just ran out of time so we are super excited to her back on the show in the near future.
Check out the links below and please do not forget to participate in the Hardrock 100 contest. Just leave your guesses on the Facebook feed for the show.

Episode #36- Ashley Nordell: Bighorn 100 Winner and New CR
Tuesday Jul 05, 2016
Tuesday Jul 05, 2016
We are super excited to get Ashley Nordell on Google Hangouts for this episode. I have been a fan of Ashley's for many years. She does "her thing" quietly and just goes out and racks up wins. Fresh off her Bighorn 100 win, Ashley talks to us about how this years race was different, the challenges faced with racing and being a mom as well as working with a coach for the first time.
Have a listen and enjoy!

Episode #35- Debbie Farka: Training with a Coach
Tuesday Jun 28, 2016
Tuesday Jun 28, 2016
With all the questions we have been getting in regards to coaching we thought we would bring someone on that knew firsthand. Debbie has never been coached but in January of this year that changed. She talks about the process she has gone through and how it has positively impacted not just her running but her life. As the interview goes on you can hear the excitement in her voice as she gets closer to her "A" race in September.
Thanks Debbie for taking the time to sit down with TrailManners.
Enjoy the show!

Episode #34- Tara Warren: Bighorn 100
Tuesday Jun 21, 2016
Tuesday Jun 21, 2016
It is always fun when you can bring a guest back for a second time. Just a couple days after her Bighorn 100 mile race Tara Warren agreed to be back on the show. The first time we had Tara on it wasn't long after her first 100 mile race- The Bear 100. 9 months later she took on the Bighorn and PR'd by over 6 hours- going 28:48 for a woman's top 10 finish.
We talk to Tara about things she learned, whats she has been up to as well as what it is like to be the proud parent of a high school National Champion track athlete and new record holder in the 4x1mile relay.
We also talk about testing out some new UltrAspire gear, crazy animal attacks and we want to know your thoughts on the Western States 100 this weekend.
Sit back relax and enjoy another episode of TrailManners....and as always THANK YOU for your support.

Episode #33- Luke Nelson: With Whom Lies Responsibility
Tuesday Jun 14, 2016
Tuesday Jun 14, 2016
With all the buzz around a recent article put out by iRunFar written by Luke Nelson we knew we had to get him on again. Unfortunately we had to do it via Google Hangouts so the sound isn't what we hoped it would be. As we still work on dialing that in- the info we talk about with Luke needs to be heard. You can head over to iRunFar and read the article HERE. With the growth of our sport and more and more people getting out to enjoy the backcountry- Luke's article should make us all stop and think. We would love to hear your comments and views.
We also planted a seed on a great idea we had: Backcountry Survival weekend by Luke Nelson. I can't wait- :)

Episode #32- Scout Mountain Ultra Race Recap
Tuesday Jun 07, 2016
Tuesday Jun 07, 2016
Well we had big plans of doing a show after the SMUT race this past Saturday but unfortunately we were toast. The heat and race took its toll so after about an hour of sitting around trying to regroup we called it and started the drive back home. We had a great time seeing some familiar faces and new ones and as always enjoyed our journey in the mountains.
During this show will we recap the race and just talk trails.

We hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! Unfortunately Joel is under the weather so that means Aric is going solo. We announce the winner of the contest from Episode 29 and talk about a few new policies from Hardrock 100 and Western States 100.
Aric dives into some random topics and TrailManners needs some feedback and insight from its listeners in regards to great music, running sunglasses and questions to answer for the new trail runner. Sit back relax and enjoy the show....and of course- thank you all so much for your support!

Episode #30- Eric Johnson: Iditarod 1000 and so much more
Tuesday May 24, 2016
Tuesday May 24, 2016
Episode 30 was a blast. We had the pleasure of having Eric Johnson on the show and he provided us with some great insight. Eric is a truly remarkable person and amazing runner. He ran his first Wasatch 100 in 1992 and then took 10 years off before completing it 10 more times and countless other races. This year he ran the Iditarod 1000....yes 1000 miles on the Iditarod course in Alaska. He hit the start line with 5 other people and finished in 26 days 18 hours and 49 minutes. We talk about running, racing and life. Thank you Eric and we are very excited to get you back on the show.
