Episode #81- Erik Storheim: Barkley Marathons
Tuesday Apr 25, 2017
Tuesday Apr 25, 2017
One of the things we really look forward to is when we can get some guests on the show that have been around the scene for awhile. The stories, the changes and the evolution of the sport are fascinating. Erik has been doing ultras since 2005 and his race resume speaks for itself. We were pumped to get him on the show to talk a little bit about the sport and its evolution but also talk about his experience over the last 2 years of heading out to run the Barkley Marathons.

Episode #80 is loaded with some local brew, delicious deep fried cheese curds and a two-time guest: Melissa Solomon. If you remember we had Melissa first on for Episode #76 where she told us here amazing story into running and her new life. She let it slip out that she was running her first 100 mile race and we warned her she would need to come back on and give us play by play. Well, she agreed and thus we have another fun time sitting down with Melissa!

Episode #75: Krissy Moehl- Chuckanut 50k
Tuesday Mar 14, 2017
Tuesday Mar 14, 2017
With the 25th running of the Chuckanut 50k happening this weekend we thought it would be a great time to talk to the amazing RD- Krissy Moehl. Krissy was kind enough (and patient enough) to join us for a podcast over the phone. Being in the final stages of preparation we cannot thank Krissy enough for taking the time to talk to us and give us all the details about the race and what the runners can expect. She has a couple other RD's helping and a load of volunteers to help make this event happen. Good Luck and we hope you all enjoy the show!

Episode #64- Jared Campbell: RUFA
Tuesday Dec 20, 2016
Tuesday Dec 20, 2016
It's not everyday we get a chance to sit down with someone like Jared Campbell. He is not only one of the most accomplished ultra runners around but a true ambassador of our sport. We touch briefly on his race resume (Barkley, Wasatch) but we really wanted to get into his upcomng event: RUFA or Running Up for Air. Air quality in Utah and especially the Salt Lake valley during the winter is...well let's just say- horrible. When Jared was training for Barkely a few years ago he wanted to make running something more than just about himself. After some thought and talking with others he came up with RUFA.
Please have listen and check out the links below for more information. We hope to help Jared fill his event on Febraury 11th to help raise more awareness to this issue. Whether you do the 6, 12 or 24 hour event- it is sure to be a grand time. It isn't just about the running though- you can volunteer, donate or help spread the word.
TrailManners would like to not only thank Jared for his time but also for all he is doing.
