Sylvia Greer has just been quietly working her way through some iconic races and big time achievements. We were excited that she agreed to sit down with a couple knuckle heads to talk about her Triple Crown experience. Sylvia is as nice as the come and mentally she is strong as hell. She got in Studio 78 and just blew our socks off as she recounted her journey through the Triple Crown on her way to a combined 1st place finish for the ladies.

Studio 78 was packed and had standing room only for this one. Episode #103 features a few of the people behind the Palisades Ultra Trail Series or PUTS. We started to hear rumors about PUTS a few months back and basically got "teased" by photos and details before the official announcement. When we heard Jeff, Drew and Spencer were coming to Ogden we knew we needed to have them on the show. These guys are incredible and bring so much passion to what they do.
We really encourage you to head over to their website and take a look and what they are putting on. This race is for the whole family and the runner experience should be off the charts!

This show has been on the "To Do" list for quite some time. Here at TrailManners we have been talking about and staying more than confused about the 200 mile race distance. We sent Ben a message and he was all over it. Ben is such a great person and as you will hear, he is a tremendous athlete with unparalleled desire. We had a great time talking with Ben in Studio 78 and we are already planning on getting him back on again.

It is already the end of September and we have seen some snow fly. It is a great time to remember to make sure you are prepared when heading to higher elevations. It can get nasty and change on a dime - stay safe and have the proper gear. This weekend is also the Bear 100 in Logan, Utah- one of our favorites. Good Luck to all those running. Our repeat champion, Luke Nelson, is back to fill us in on his 2017 activism, adventures and what he has in store for 2018.
When we last spoke with Luke Nelson, in February of 2017, he was preparing for RUFA and hinted at some extraordinary adventure runs for the Summer of 2017 (Utah 13ers and Nolans). In this interview we learned that Luke and Jared Campbell set the record for the fastest traverse of Utah’s 13ers and that they had a successful attempt at Nolans but did come up a bit short on the Nolans FKT.
We wrap up the interview talking about the Bear 100, running Hardrock 100 or even maybe Barkley’s Marathon (yikes!), and the new race distances for the 2018 SMUT.
