We once again found ourselves walking the hallowed halls of AmerSport in Ogden, Utah. We figure if they see us around enough they will just hire us. We met up with Conor Wright, Manager of the AmerSport Factory Outlet, to talk about the big tent sale that kicks off on Friday September 23rd. Conor tells us about all the deals and what you can expect- you don't want to miss this if you are in the area. Then Conor was kind enough to donate a Suunto Ambit3 Vertical to giveaway in a contest: Have a listen or details.
Next we met up with Josh Korn and Mike Ambrose- these dudes are fast. We talked shop and had just a little fun ...cause that's what we do. We are excited to see what Salomon has planned of 2017 and so should you.
Have a listen and make sure you enter the contest.
Also- don't forget about our pre-order for TrailManners Boco Gear custom beanies- we only have 50 so get on it now.

We are so excited to launch Episode #50...yes 50- we can barely believe it. We wanted a great guest when we hit this milestone and well- it happened. Cory Reese was in town and we threw him in Studio 78 to talk about everything he has been up to: 2 weeks removed from finishing Badwater, 1 week into a Best Selling book launch and less than 24 hours after pacing at Wasatch, Cory made the time to talk to TrailManners. We had an absolute blast and we cannot recommend his new book enough. Please do your self a favor and go get it ....Now Go Get It!
Cory is such an amazing guy and you can feel his inspiring presence immediately when you meet. Thanks Cory for jumping in the bus and thanks for all you do!

Tuesday Aug 30, 2016
Tuesday Aug 30, 2016
Contest Alert. We had such a great time on Episode #10- we had to get Turdl back on the show. He made a trip up in his VW bus to Ogden so we took him on a run up to Malans Peak before we recorded. Once we did the 2000' climb in the heat of the day we crammed into Studio78 and gave him a microphone and the shenanigans were underway- as well as the sweet scent of man.
We talk about his year as well as a cool race he is starting down in Southern Utah.
We also have a contest to a question that Turdl needs answered- when you answer it correctly you will be put into a drawing for a free race entry to his race!!!
Just respond on the Facebook link to this show- Good Luck!
Thanks again Turdl for a very entertaining show.

Episode #45- Bryon Powell: Hardrock, iRunFar & Where the Road Ends
Wednesday Aug 17, 2016
Wednesday Aug 17, 2016
This guy doesn't really need much introduction so we will dive right into it. When we put Bryon behind the mic we had a few ideas what we wanted to discuss but we ended up everywhere. We had an amazing time talking about so many topics and stories but we thought we should put him on the spot with a few tougher questions.
Also we have a contest in play for the new book; Where the Road Ends by Meghan & Bryon. Stay tuned to the end of the podcast- we have 3 to give away.
Thanks to Bryon and Meghan and their entire team at iRunFar for all they have done to the trail community over the last 8+ years.

Episode #29- Matt Trappe & a Contest!
Tuesday May 17, 2016
Tuesday May 17, 2016
We had a great chance to get Matt on the schedule via Google Hangouts to talk to him about his amazing films. Although we need to still do some tweaking to the process, we think Matt sounded great. His first to films are incredible, first- Running the Edge: The Colorado Trail and now the newly released- Kissing the Rock. He does such an amazing job or telling these stories and allowing the viewer an inside look to not just the characters but the mystique surrounding them. We encourage everyone to not just watch them both but schedule a showing in your area.
Matt mentions his next project and we can't wait to get him back on the show as it draws near.
CONTEST ALERT:
If Matt did a film about TrailManners- what should it be called?
Submit your answers via our Facebook page for a chance to win a TrailManners Visor or hat of your choice! Aric & Joel will pick the winner and announce it on an upcoming show. Contest ends Wednesday May 25th.

Episode #17- Crewing a race
Tuesday Mar 08, 2016
Tuesday Mar 08, 2016
We are BACK IN THE BUS- Studio 78 never felt so good. The bus braved the rain and pulled into the Beus Trailhead in beautiful Ogden, Utah for a fun show. After we cover some of the basics we got right after it.
Special guest- Crew Master/Studio78 repairman and all around good guy Lane Farka joined us to cover the ins and outs of crewing. Last week we covered pacing so the next logical step would be the best way to crew your runner. Although there is no "perfect" way to do it- we try to discuss the things that can make it a success. Being a part of a crew means you are part foot doctor, treasure map reader, nutritionist, cab dancer, motivational speaker, time manager and responsible friend. It may not all be roses and rainbows but to see your runner reach their goal is priceless.
Don't forget to leave a reply on Facebook for a chance to win a free entry into the Beaverhead 100k or 50k.
Also, don't forget to share the show and invite your friends to listen!
And lastly- make sure you come by and say HELLO at the Antelope Island races- Studio 78 will be there and we we be doing some interviews.
