The Wasatch 100 has another 2 time winner- Trevor Fuchs. We sit Trevor down in Studio 78 two days after another impressive win at the 2017 Wasatch 100. He pretty much ran at the front from the start and had a nearly flawless day. We cover the past year from working with a coach for the first time, running the inaugural Gib Wallace race (shameless plug) and getting married to his beautiful wife Tempest. Hanging out with Trevor is a blast and you can just see the love he has for trail running and the local trail community when he talks. After a little down time, Trevor will get right back on it for his trip to Hawaii in January 2018 for the running of the HURT 100....Good Luck!
Thank you Trevor for taking the time to talk and thank you for the reminder to make sure we have fun out there on the trails.

He Did It! We have been following Jeff Hart for the past 5 months as he prepared for the Hardrcok 100 and he was kind enough to swing by Ogden to jump into Studio 78 to give us a solid recap of the race. For Jeff it was the pinnacle of his trail running life and as he puts the race into words- you can see and hear the emotion as he recaps the journey.
Thank you Jeff for taking us along and Congrats on not only the Hardrock finish but also the engagement to Jen. You are a class act and someone who continues to inspire. On behalf of TrailManners and our listeners- we are proud to call you our friend!

Did Dr. Manners IPA & Cheese Curd prescription work? With a little under 6 weeks until the 2017 Hardrock 100, Jeff Hart joins us for the third installment on his trail to Hardrock. Last time we had Jeff on he talked about battling inuries and the mental toll it was taking. This time around you can hear in his voice that he is feeling better and excited for the San Juans. Thanks again Jeff and good luck with the next month of Hardrock training.

One of the things we really look forward to is when we can get some guests on the show that have been around the scene for awhile. The stories, the changes and the evolution of the sport are fascinating. Erik has been doing ultras since 2005 and his race resume speaks for itself. We were pumped to get him on the show to talk a little bit about the sport and its evolution but also talk about his experience over the last 2 years of heading out to run the Barkley Marathons.
